$5000 winner of the 24th Annual Derby

Pictured is Bob Curran the winner of the $5000 grand prize of our 24th Annual Ice Fishing Derby held on Feb 15th, the 16th was cancelled to the weather. Another successful event for the fishermen and the public. Sebago Lake did freeze so more fishermen did venture out to enjoy the event.

This fundraiser will help support many local charities and help with food insecurity in our communities.

and an Open House to introduce Rotary to new interested parties. Robin Mullins past President also received recognition for the club's achievements meeting their goals for the year under her Presidency. Presenting the award was Asst. District Gov. Kathy Perkins and current President of our club, Max Bang.

Maine Operation Game Thief

The Sebago Lake Rotary Club presents Maine Operation GameThief with support for their efforts to catch those who violate hunting rules.

Maine Operation Game Thief is a nonprofit with the goal to make the public aware of abuses against Maine's wildlife and natural resources working with wildlife enforcement whenever possible. For more info on MOGT go to Maineogt.org.

Message from our President, Max Bang

This past Saturday, Don, Robin and I went to the Isles of Shoals for the district-wide end of year celebration, and it was a wonderful event. Over 150 Rotarians from across the district came together on Star Island and there was a lot to celebrate – I left feeling inspired about driving new membership, setting goals for the new year, and learning more about the great work of Rotary International and the foundation.

Passing the torch BBQ

It was a wonderful evening with fellow Rotarians for our annual Passing of the torch BBq. Thank you Don and Martha Drew for hosting. It was a great evening of conversation, and the food was delicious. Congratulations to incoming President, Max Bang and Thank you to Robin Mullins out going President. Job well done!

What a beautiful dedication of the memorial bench for fellow Rotarian, George Bartlett at the Raymond Memorial Park.

SL Polar Dip

A huge Thank You to Rotarians Mark Wasowski and President Robin Mullins for taking the plunge! Raising over $5000 in support of the local food pantries, Feed The Need event!

Local businesses and citizens participated in raising money in support of the need in the community.

This event was postponed from the Fishing Derby hosted by the Sebago lake Rotary Club until April 13th.
