Mask Challenge 2020
The Sebago Lake Rotary Club recently participated in the Rotary Million Mask Challenge Tour. The Tour traveled through six States, hosting nine strategic event stops and delivered 100,000 mask which were given to representatives of their 41 clubs from Southern Maine and Coastal NH for use in their local communities. The masks were funded by The Rossie Family Foundation ad supported by iHeart Media!! The goal was to have each Rotary Club in these areas provide protective masks to grass-roots first responders and essential workers inside their communities. The Sebago Lake Club helped disburse masks to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Dept, Portland School Departments Breathe Project, Maine Correctional Center in Windham, Lake Region School and food pantry, RSU 14 and Windham Food Pantry. Recipients say this donation helps make sure these organizations can continue to operate safely.
